Karen here.
My life was turned sideways (not quite upside down!) on a sunny Wednesday afternoon in March 2023 when I suffered a concussion in a car wreck that wasn’t even my fault! It required me to take time off from work and the expectation was that I'd return after my recovery. But that never happened.
You see, the sudden stop in routine left room for me to fully experience that unsettled and unfulfilled feeling that I had been ignoring for a long time. Service was, and is, part of my calling for as long as I can remember, but after that accident I decided to finally "take the risk" to do it my way, and not how others expected me to do it.
Fast forward 2 1/2 years, professional development and hours of training and mentoring, I now get to step into my dream as a life coach who gets to walk alongside folks who are struggling like I was. If you’re sick and tired of reverting back into old patterns, I hear you. I’ve been there more times than I can count, and I’ve also broken out of them more times than I can count.
